Morgan Wallen is bringing Sand in My Boots Festival back to Gulf Shores, Alabama, for a three-day run May 21-23, 2027. The event follows its sold-out 2025 debut and skips 2026. Wallen curates the lineup with AEG Presents.
Kings of Leon and Ella Langley join Wallen as headliners. The bill spans country acts Koe Wetzel, Cole Swindell, Gavin Adcock, Midland, Avery Anna, Kameron Marlowe, Hudson Westbrook, Kashus Culpepper, Carter Faith, Corey Kent and Vincent Mason. Third Eye Blind appears on the rock side. Hip-hop performers include Nelly, Flo Rida, Gucci Mane, Rick Ross, Juicy J, Project Pat and Ying Yang Twins. Electronic acts Kygo, Empire of the Sun and Girl Talk are also booked.
Langley moves up to headliner status after playing the 2025 edition. Her single "Choosin' Texas" has spent an extended stretch atop the Billboard charts. Kings of Leon is preparing its 10th studio album, O My Beloved.
Wallen said he plans to try new stage concepts at the 2027 edition. "One thing I'm looking forward to the most about bringing Sand In My Boots Festival back is being able to have new concepts on stage and trying to elevate the experience overall for the fans, myself, and other artists on the bill," he said. "I think it's going to be really top-notch and we're going to try to do it even better this time."
Passes go on sale Friday, Nov. 6, at 10 a.m. Central time. Set times and stage schedules have not been announced. The Morgan Wallen Foundation gave more than $200,000 in musical instruments to five Alabama schools after the 2025 festival; the foundation has donated over $2 million in instruments to schools in communities visited on Wallen's U.S. tours.
