The long wait for a specific Montreal concert finally ended in late 2022.
A performance originally scheduled for November 2020 was pushed back a full year due to concerns over COVID-19. The delay did not stop there. The show was postponed again and finally took place on November 25, 2022. At that time, Paul Larson, a producer for Mountain Lake PBS, took the stage to tell the audience the show would proceed. Larson had introduced the guitarist, Pavlo, and his band members before. This was his second time doing so for the musician from Toronto.
The concert took place at Théâtre Maisonneuve, which is part of the Place des Arts complex in Montreal. Pavlo and his band performed music with a Mediterranean influence. The set reflected the guitarist's Greek heritage and his interest in Latin cultures. The audience had purchased tickets and reserved seats for the original 2020 date, making the two-year delay a notable interruption in their plans.
Pavlo is currently on a tour that includes theaters across Ontario. The route also features venues in Boston, New York City, and Los Angeles. This current schedule follows the conclusion of the delayed Montreal engagement. The production is supported by the Glenn and Carol Pearsall Adirondack Foundation and Hill and Hollow Music.
