BTS posted the official music video for 'Merry Go Round' on YouTube today. The upload is now live on the BANGTANTV channel. The group made the visual available to the public after it launched as a Spotify-exclusive in June.

The song appears on the band's fifth studio album, 'ARIRANG.' That record came out in March. The track uses a turning carousel as a central metaphor for the repetitive cycles of daily life. The video presents the seven members in black and white.

The footage follows the singers through separate spaces before they reunite. The imagery builds to a reveal that the enclosed setting is actually a massive carousel suspended in the sky. The visual style emphasizes themes of isolation and continuing forward despite difficult circumstances.

BigHit Music connected the new imagery to the group's history. A carousel also appeared prominently in the 2017 music video for 'Spring Day.' In that earlier project, the symbol was associated with waiting and loss. For the current release, the label described the image as representing a small world containing the members' memories.

The YouTube release coincides with the ongoing 'ARIRANG' era and world tour. The song has been part of the band's live set during recent North American performances. The official BTS Weverse page continues to feature related content, including behind-the-scenes material.
