Disney+ Confirms 'Daredevil: Born Again' Will Conclude With Third Season

The show is undergoing a behind-the-scenes change. Dario Scardapane has departed the project. He took over as showrunner during a major creative overhaul. Marvel did not renew his contract. His exit happens while Season 3 is in post-production. Reports indicate the work is in its final stages. Marvel has not publicly explained the decision. The studio has also not identified who will oversee the remaining work.

The third season follows the first two seasons of "Born Again." Those seasons premiered on Disney+ in 2025. They served as a continuation of the Netflix "Daredevil" series. That earlier series ran from 2015 to 2018. Cox remains in the title role. Vincent D'Onofrio returns as Wilson Fisk, also known as Kingpin.

The upcoming season will feature additional cast members. Krysten Ritter will return as Jessica Jones. Mike Colter will play Luke Cage. Finn Jones will portray Iron Fist. These additions expand the connections to Marvel's former Netflix series. They also link the show to "The Defenders."
