The Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Tampa Bay Rays 4-1 on Wednesday night at Tropicana Field to capture the World Series. The victory secured a 4-1 series win, ending the franchise's 57-year search for a championship.
Milwaukee took control early, scoring one run in the second inning and another in the fifth. The Brewers added two more runs in the sixth to build a comfortable lead.
